If you're more of an "experiences" person rather than a "stuff" person, Black Friday/Cyber Week can still be for you. Namely, airlines are offering sweet deals on flights to scratch your travel itch. Here are some great sales if you're looking to get away for a little (or a lot) less.
Southwest's Cyber Week deals include both domestic and international options. Flight and hotel packages booked for US destinations will receive $125 off with code SAVE125, and international trips get $250 off with code SAVE250. The deal is valid if you book by December 4 for travel between now and August 6, 2018.
American is also offering discounts on vacation packages, with $100 off for a minimum of four nights, and $150 off for a minimum of six.
Want to get away for the holidays? JetBlue Vacations has up to 50 percent off select hotels when you book airfare and travel before November 28 for travel by December 31.
Spirit is offering 90 percent (yes, ninety) off round trip flights with code 90PCT. There are blackout dates and destination exclusions, and you'll still have to pay all the requisite taxes and fees, but it's still a pretty great deal. Must book by November 26 for travel between December 5 and February 13, 2018.
Delta wants to fly you to the Azores, and the airline is giving you a deal if you book before November 28 for travel from May 24 to September 3, 2018. Round trip fares start at $559 from Boston and top out at $919 for West Coast departures.
Budget carrier WOWAir has a "Purple Friday" sale that's still going on, with flights to London, Amsterdam, Dublin, and Brussels for $99 one way from Boston, Pittsburgh, and Chicago, and $129 from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami.
Once you're in Europe, discount airline RyanAir is offering multiple days of deals, with each day featuring super cheap flights originating at a particular airport. Saturday's deals leave from London Stansted and start at just $7.93 one way to Olszytn, Poland. Other prices include $10.58 to Stockholm, $13.22 to Venice, and $17.19 to Barcelona.
