These Valentines Really Rock

These Valentines Really Rock

We're always looking for small simple crafts that even if made and forgotten about for a length of time will be just as cherished when they're rediscovered later on. Enter rocks. Plain old landscaping rocks. Want your kids to design something special for their friends without glue, tape and scissors? All you need is a white out pen!

Although we're not 100% sure type of white ink or paint Abbey over at Aesthetic Outburst used to dress up these simple lanscaping rocks, we can testify that white out pens work quite well for the task.

A bag of rock from your local hardware store (unless you want to hijack some from the great outdoors somewhere), will run you just a few dollars. Let your kids go to town making hearts and stripes, dots and spots, stars and more — you'll be amazed what they come up with.

It's a simple project that will give kids a sweet memory each time the rock resurfaces years down the road from the bottom of their sock drawer. Check out more from Aesthetic Outburst.
