We Love This Touching Wedding Tribute From This Is Us

There goes This Is Us, getting us all teary eyed yet again. The season two finale is Tuesday night, and from the previews, we’re sure it’s about to bring on the waterworks. But Chrissy Metz is having us reach for the tissues early, because she just shared a a touching detail from the episode on Instagram.

It’s finally time for Kate and Toby to get married, and while everyone keeps talking about the appearance of old Jack (teased by Milo Ventimiglia himself), we’re loving this touching tribute that Metz and the This Is Us team came up with for Kate’s wedding look.

Her manicure is Kate’s “something blue” (a custom pale hue mixed from OPI’s It’s a Boy and Funny Bunny), but with Jack’s initials in gold script on her pinkie fingers.

“Honoring the beautiful relationship Jack and Kate always had, I decided to have his initials close to my heart,” she says in the caption.

Though it’s a small detail, it’s a touching one, particularly since celebratory days can feel especially sad without important people in attendance.
