This Shelter Commercial Hilariously Hawks Cats Like Used Cars

It doesn't take much for us to fall for a furry creature. Though an Atlanta-based animal shelter is laying it on thick, borrowing from the used car salesman playbook to attract attention to their cuddly companions.

Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters uploaded the low-budget masterpiece to YouTube last month and already has over a million views. In it, Paul Preston—brother of shelter volunteer Helen, who had the idea for the commercial—advertises big cats, sleepy cats, and even self-cleaning cats. Someone even impersonates one of those inflatable tube people, and there's a nod to Sarah McLachlan's infamous SPCA commercial.
