ThredUP: Would You?

ThredUP: Would You?

Though we're partial to our library, we love the idea of swapping books via various online services. But would you swap children's clothes online? You pay only for shipping and handling.

Considering how quickly babies and children outgrow clothes, ThredUP is definitely on to something. Instead of just letting those giant bags of clothes take over, or donating them (also a very good idea), you can swap them for clothes in your child's current size.

You get to choose your "Inner Circle" so you'll actually be able to swap with friends or relatives who live far away. The shipping part is very simple thanks to ThredUP. You use free boxes and print out a shipping label from home. The post office comes to your house to pick up the box. When you want to purchase a box - you only pay $13 shipping.

If you want to become a "Pro" Member (for a fee) you'll get more detailed information about what's in any given box, plus a few other benefits.

If you're interested - find out more about how it works here.
