Tim McGraw Won Christmas With His Giant Tree
Pack it up, everyone. The Christmas season has officially been won by Tim McGraw.
The country singer posted a photo of his 20-foot Christmas tree to Instagram on Dec. 9, and it’s truly the most impressive sight you’ll see this holiday season.
“A: Santa’s lead flying reindeer. B: wife [Faith Hill] trying to get rid of me before Christmas,” McGraw jokingly captioned the post. He shared three photos of himself on top of a 20-foot ladder putting tinsel on the tree, and Tim, you’re causing a lot of anxiety.
Fellow country star Rita Wilson commented, “Be careful up there!!” Brad Paisley wrote, “Um, in like 2 minutes you need to do one of those ‘how it started/how it’s going’ posts from the ER.” Sammy Arriaga added, “While I’m over here buying a [$99] prelit tree from Walmart.”
It looks like McGraw and Hill kept their Christmas tree decor to a minimum—most likely to save on the number of times McGraw would have to climb that ladder. They kept it traditional with a fluffy garland of gold tinsel and classic multi-colored lights, sans ornaments.
And while you’d think McGraw had his fill of the Christmas spirit by decorating a tree that trumps the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, he shared another post of a few more decorations put up for the holidays.
“Merry Christmas,” McGraw captioned another twinkly post, uploaded to Instagram Dec. 13. “Thinking about my family, friends and our amazing fans who we have missed seeing this year. We love y’all! The McGraws.”
The fact that those trees are wrapped in lights to the very tips of each branch shows how dedicated McGraw and kin are to the Christmas season.
As long as McGraw can get that Christmas tree dismantled without needing to take an ambulance ride, then he gets to keep his King of Christmas crown.
