We love plants and we love recycling, so what a brilliant idea this is to recycle corks into tiny planters for air plants (tillandsia). Imagine a collection of these tiny jewels in your work cubicle, on the refrigerator via magnets or hanging in the kitchen window. They could also make a sweet hostess gift or a memorable wedding favor.

Katie S. at Rue La La came up with this crafty idea. You seriously just need to hollow out a cork from your favorite wine or champagne, a tiny air plant, a magnet and hot glue gun. Though, I'd consider taking it a step further and create a hanging display with some strong thread of monofilament/fishing line.
