Live Out Your Big Dreams at This Tiny House Festival
If you’re contemplating on moving into a tiny home, you might want to attend the most-awaited event of the year. No, it’s not Coachella. It’s the Georgia Tiny House Festival.
To be held from Saturday, April 4, to Sunday, April 5, in Atlanta, the event’s fifth installment will feature tiny homes of different shapes and sizes. In last year’s festival, for instance, there were not-so-tiny houses, like this old bus that was renovated into a rustic retreat.
There were also some ultra-tiny but cozy homes too. Just look at this gypsy-inspired wagon.
Expect to see different wagons with varying themes. Take for example this firehouse.
You can also go inside to get inspiration for your own home.
The festival will have experts give talks about transitioning to the lifestyle, as well as tips if you’re planning to DIY. For those who’d rather buy instead of build, suppliers will also be attending the event.
There are also similar events elsewhere, from Colorado to Los Angeles to as far as Australia and New Zealand, happening throughout the year, proving that the tiny house movement is not just a passing trend. And with more millennials looking to avoid rising housing costs, expect more of these big celebrations of mini-homes in the future.
A day-pass to the Georgia Tiny House Festival will cost $20 while a two-day pass will cost $25. You can learn more by heading here.
