In French, Belleville means beautiful village, and that’s exactly what you’ll get from this stunning tiny house perched on a hilltop near Belleville in Ontario, Canada. (And measuring in at just 10 by 10 feet, it’s certainly a tiny house.)

This rental is painted a bold red and has windows to let in bright light as well. The downstairs seating area is surrounded by gorgeous, buttery wood, which makes for the most cozy spot to sit with a good book. The surrounding peaceful area will help you find comfort in the solitude of the space. But for those who need to check in here and there, don’t worry: there’s also wifi (plus electricity and heat—not always a given while glamping).

Upstairs is a sleeping spot for two, with linens and flannel bedding that feels like a luxury camp. Just a short walk away is an outhouse with an outdoor sink and an open-air shower. Glampers are also welcome to use a toaster oven, a hotplate, and a microwave plus the outdoor deck space to make a fire for a barbecue, s’mores, or even just a way to keep warm.

Surrounding the tiny home is 30 acres of sprawling wooded trails to explore hiking, biking, rock climbing, bird watching, or enjoying water sports like swimming, kayaking, or canoeing. In the nearby town of Warkworth is a history center and shops to check out plus restaurants and even a golf course. And just a 25 minute drive away is Lake Ontario, near the beach, marsh and wildlife-filled meadow. The house may be tiny, but the experience will be anything but.
