Today Only: Amazon Smile Purchases Give 5% to Charity
Giving back gets a boost today. Amazon announced that all Amazon Smile purchases will give a full 5% (that’s ten times more than average) to the charity of your choice.
The online retailer is continuing its celebration of its top ranking score as calculated by the American Consumer Satisfaction Index. Last month, Amazon gave $8.63 discounts (their ACSI score is 86.27) on purchases over $50.
Today, the money goes to your favorite charity, organization, or cause through the company’s Amazon Smile program. Amazon Smile has all the same stuff as regular Amazon, except that all eligible purchases result in a donation of affiliate income to your nonprofit of choice, from big organizations like the Red Cross or Nature Conservancy, to local charities and schools. And today, that donation is a whopping 5%.
