Don't ask us how The New York Times came up with a 1600-word story concerning the evolution of the toothbrush holder. (we're still shocked we read the whole thing). With a new Stylish Toothbrush, ATers might have long ago switched to Using a Toothbrush Holder as a Vase. There are some holders that will hold an ergonomic, fat-handled brush...

The two holders pictured at the top are both from Umbra and under $15 each. Though they require a counter to rest upon.

The Novis toothbrush holder (above) from Samuel Heath is wall mounted plated brass but costs around $100. (You can buy it from Simon's online for $75.) Because it cradles the neck of the brush, it accommodates large-handled brushes.

Have you taken our Reader Poll: Manual or Electric Toothbrush??
