I saw these on a woman last week and made a note: the COOLEST design for a winter boot in years. With a twisting closure, bright orange soles and snug fur up top, this is a "seriously snug boot." Want more warm, waterproof and well designed? Head below and/or check this reader list on Jezebel...
Top Winter Boots
- Betty Boot II - $150
Simple design. From Keen, these are super comfortable, zip up the side, pull on leather boots with a non marking technical sole to make it easy to grip any kind of slushy mess. I wear a similar man's version, the Portland.
And they're back! I've been watching this past year as this classic design has made a comeback. LL Bean has been putting them out with cool new waxed canvas and felt uppers, but this shearling lined version is better for cold weather.
- Tivoli II Herringbone Boot - $120
Also Sorel, but lower and easier to pull on. From Amybobamy at Jezebel: "I love these boots. I wear uggs when there's not snow on the ground, just for warmth, and these when the ground is wet. Very comfy, keep my feet completely dry and they're super cute."
