Tracee Ellis Ross knows a thing or two about style. While the “Black-ish” actor consistently dons bold and fashion-forward outfits, Ross is also a formidable force in another design realm: Interior and home decor. The Golden Globe winner often shares snapshots of her eclectic and stylish Los Angeles home on Instagram; this time, we’re coveting a piece of furniture in an unconventional hue: Ross’ metallic velvet couch. 

Surrounded by a round mahogany coffee table, a bookshelf filled to the brim with books, and minimalist prints framed in gold, Ross shared a series of snapshots of herself flanked on a comfortable-looking velvet couch in a metallic shade of grey. It almost evokes a disco ball—a fitting comparison for someone who is seemingly often the life of the party. The couch is accented with matching metallic grey throw pillows, offering a bold yet versatile piece of furniture.

Living Spaces’ Fairfax Steel Grey Velvet, while not as shimmery, also follows the design trend. Wayfair’s Velvet Barrel Chair by Everly Quinn also takes cues from the velvet metallic grey.
