Trader Joe’s Is Selling Cinnamon Brooms for Under $1

One of my favorite things to do during fall is to binge-watch Halloween movies and shows that have everything to do with witches. So when I spotted cinnamon brooms at Trader Joe’s, I immediately had to pick one up for home—and for the smell, design, and price, you might feel compelled to do the same.

TJ’s is now selling mini cinnamon brooms for $0.99 while full-sized cinnamon broom are priced at $3.99. In addition to the wonderful cinnamon smell, they serve as a decorative item that doesn’t look too tacky and could make for a festive centerpiece that lasts throughout the season.

Not only do the cinnamon brooms look and smell great, but to continue with the witchy theme, some suggest that they ward off evil when hung above the door. “It’s believed that the broom will sweep away the negative energies of those who enter your home,” says witchcraft lifestyle site Wiccan Gathering.

Another belief is that cinnamon brings success and good fortune (plus, it makes everything around you feel extra warm and cozy). Warding off bad energies and bringing economic and personal success? Everyone should have a cinnamon broom in their house.

So if you need me, I’ll be snuggled up in my house surrounded by cinnamon brooms, sipping on a PSL, watching “Hocus Pocus.”
