Trader Joe’s Yogi Skeleton Air Plants Are Back—No Bones About It
It may only be September, but fall has already started at Trader Joe’s. While you might be stocking up on other seasonal goods, make sure to grab all the zen yogi skeleton air plants you can get our hands on.
The Tillandsia Yogi Skeletons, which first popped up at Trader Joe’s last year, are retailing for $5.99 each and come in three different poses to add to your Halloween decor. Shoppers started posting about these cute yogis on Instagram in late August, so TJ’s is basically telling you to start decorating for Halloween. (Too early for Halloween decorations? NEVER.)
Air plants are generally easy and low-maintenance plants, so they’re ideal for anyone who may not have a green thumb or is simply looking for a seasonal decoration. Air plants should be kept in bright, indirect sunlight and soaked in water every two weeks for maximum life span. These plants are also fitting for small spaces due to their size and lack of dirt that generally makes them mess-free.
These skeletons flew off the shelf last year, so if you’re hoping to snag some, you’d better act on it quickly. And if they’re already sold out, don’t worry: Bed Bath & Beyond and Michael’s both have some plant-free alternatives that are just as spooky and in the same price range.
We’re just picturing how cute these would all look on the windowsill of an apartment or in a chic yoga studio. It’s basically the decoration of our ghoul-filled dreams.
