The grandmother of Design TV, Trading Spaces, returned to TLC back in April—a decade after its original run ended. Now, everyone's favorite host with the most Paige Davis has a big announcement about season 2: how you can be on the show.
Davis appears in a video posted to TLC's Twitter account on Wednesday about casting for the reboot's second season, where she calls for neighbors who want to swap keys. This time around, they're looking for folks in Los Angeles or Charlotte, North Carolina.
🚨 ATTENTION all neighbors in the LA and Charlotte, NC area! 🚨— TLC Network (@TLC) August 1, 2018
Are you ready for a room renovation with @RealPaigeDavis and your favorite #TradingSpaces designers? We're now casting for the upcoming season! Learn how to apply and more at //t.co/bpazcDU4S5! pic.twitter.com/5jrSpd6f5k
As we saw in the first season of the reboot (and the OG run), the room renovations come with a fair amount of risks: DIY fails, extreme time and budget crunches, and of course, Hilde. But if you're down to get crafty in your neighbors' house, the rewards could be huge (and hey, you might even be blessed with Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent in another crossover episode—or you could just apply to be on their show).
Per the casting site, the neighbors can live up to a quarter mile away, though preference is given to those who live next door. And renters can also apply, provided they get landlord approval.
Good luck, and get ready to trade spaces!
