Whether or not you’re actually in the market for a new home, scrolling through real estate listings can be habit-forming. Looking at all the cool living spaces available can be oodles of fun, even if they’re halfway across the country or seriously out of your budget.

Case in point? One of Trulia’s most popular listings this month: This stunning nine-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion in Encino, California. At a listing price of $7.8 million, it’s not likely to be on your list of realistic prospects, but it can’t hurt to check out the photos. (It sold for $2.2 million just two years ago—what an ROI!)

The listing describes the location of this 10,500-square-foot estate in the Royal Oaks neighborhood of Encino as a “celebrity/entertainer enclave,” so whoever snags this property can expect to rub to elbows with A-listers in the area.

The kitchen is a chef’s dream, complete with two large stone islands, high-end appliances, white custom cabinetry, and walk-in pantries.

There’s no need to go on vacation when you’re the owner of these digs (besides the fact that you probably won’t be able to afford it with those $37,000 mortgage payments!). The master “retreat” promises a “true resort-like feel,” with a private balcony and a “spa-like bathroom,” including a massive steam shower and a soaking tub.

When you want to invite a few dozen of your closest friends over for a big bash, you’ll have plenty of room on the 1,000-square-foot patio. There’s a built-in barbecue, fireplace, lounge area, and 300-square-foot cabana. When you tire of lounging around, take a dip in the zero-edge infinity pool, or get some exercise on the putting green or basketball court. Friends visiting? They can crash in style in the 1,200-square-foot guest house.

Ready to stop daydreaming and take a look at some homes fit for those of us who aren’t multi-millionaires? Some of the other most popular recent listings on Trulia clock in at under $200,000. There’s this three-bedroom, two-bathroom single family home in Orlando, which is listed at just under $105,000.

And this recently-rehabbed four-bedroom, two-bathroom home in the walkable Overbrook neighborhood of Philadelphia is under $160,000.

There’s also this four-bedroom, one-bathroom home in nearby Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, for $119,000 that’s perfect for growing families. It’s located in a walkable neighborhood that’s near elementary and high schools. You can also snag this four-bedroom, three-bathroom new construction home in Dallas for just under $190,000.
