Turn HOPEN Nightstands Into Hoppin' Record Storage

Turn HOPEN Nightstands Into Hoppin' Record Storage

In our opinion records are worth keeping around. The problem is, they take up a huge amount of space, and it's not always easy to figure out where and how to store them. Good thing this topic is near and dear to our hearts, as we spend a lot of time searching for new ways to protect and store our precious collection...

IKEA Hacker reader Cristina desperately needed storage for her large vinyl record collection. She took four HOPEN nightstands and two on the floor. On top of that she placed a long piece of wood and stacked the other two nightstands on that. The space between each nightstand serves as even more storage space as well as the actual nightstands!

The creative reuse of the nightstands provided ample storage for both vinyl records and any other unslightly media! This look can be achieved in so many different ways. If you're looking to get your hands (kinda) dirty, you can always build your own two shelf bookcases and create this space.
