Turn Spare Keyboard Keys Into Fridge Magnets

What a great DIY idea from Decoratrix for using spare keyboard parts for fridge note posting duty (oh wait, it's the very same idea we had awhile back!). Glue gun a one of those tiny super strong magnets inside a keyboard key and you can not only post things up onto the fridge, but spell out the categories or assign names. With a little planning and nice packaging, these could be fun stocking stuffers if you're looking for DIY gift ideas.

If you need a little direction of how to turn a bunch of spare keys into magnets, look no further than our How To Make Your Own Keyboard Magnet Gift Set post. Our past contributor Laura even made some nice packaging as an example for gift giving inspiration:

And of course, if you're not the handy, DIY type, there's always Etsy sellers...someone even turned the smaller Apple chiclet style keys into magnets, if your tastes run a little more new school.
