Turn Unused Plumbing Materials Into Backyard Fun

Turn Unused Plumbing Materials Into Backyard Fun

We've been doing a great deal of construction and renovation around our house lately, and even though we've done our best to put remaindered materials on Craigslist for other homeowners to use, there's no shame in having a little fun if your materials allow for it. We just happen to have drainpipe lying around and are thinking about making this backyard toss game to take a little break from all the DIY.

We ran across this project earlier this week over at This Old House and thought, "Man, wish we had time to do that!" As luck would have it, the renovation gods have spared us a moment or two and we're totally making time for this quick and easy project.

All you need is a length of drainpipe, stick on numbers (or a Sharpie), plastic zip ties and you're all set. This small amount of construction material would have been difficult to resell on Craigslist, so why not have a little fun with it? You can check out the step-by-step tutorial over at This Old House or check out a sassy (and we mean sassy) video instead!
