Textify.it, which is a simple web app, visualizes images using loads and loads of text. When you drag and drop an image into the program, it converts and replaces the colors in your images with text characters, overlapping them to recreate your image in an abstract artwork.

You can use any photo or image on your computer or Apple device, and you can adjust the font style and weight, the characters used, as well as the background. Your final image can be displayed in black & white and saved or downloaded in a PNG format. Think of Textify.it as a user-friendly version of popular ASCII programs like ASCIIArt or Picascii, easily changing your images into transcendental representations of themselves.
