Two Good Questions For The Price Of One! (The Second One is About an Ugly Bed Frame)

Q1: Has the Good Questions column been discontinued? Sent by Debbie
A: Nope, we're back, and thrilled about it!
Q2: My husband and I currently sleep on a queen-sized mattress, but we are sick of elbowing each other in the ribs at night. Since we are on tight budget, we decided to get a vacuum-packed expandable memory foam king-size mattress that comes with a black metal platform bed frame. I will probably eventually invest in a nicer platform bed frame, but in the mean time, is there any thing I can do to make this thing look less ugly?

They sell brackets to attach a headboard to it, but the frame will still be very visible under the bed. Maybe I could spray paint it with a matte-finish paint in another color? Do people still use bed skirts/dust ruffles, and can those ever look not-fussy? Sent by Maggie

Editor: Since I'm dealing with a similar conundrum myself at the moment, I can't wait to read all of your suggestions. Thanks in advance- and keep your Good Questions coming!
