We all have problems with cables. The problem is that there are just so many of them, it's so easy to get the infamous cable octopus and not know how to take them apart anymore. It's a mess, and the only way not to get all mixed up, is to have a system that works well. The problem is that order usually will break down if you continue to add peripherals plugged into power strips. We've found two great ways to manage our mess, read on to find out what they are.

LaCie Flat Cables
These new LaCie cables are designed to stay flat, meaning that they are a lot easier to manage that usual USB, firewire and other cables. Instead of trying to go wireless, which isn't always reliable witIh these types of ports, LaCie just made them flat, which makes them easy to roll up. You can coil them and carry them without any problems. You won't have a tangled mess anymore. We thought that these cables are a simple and elegant solution to the problem of cable mess. EzSpace UFO
This power plug makes efficient use of space and spreads out the cables in a circular manner, meaning that you don't have to the power cables all stacked up in one way. This makes things easier to manage. We also think that this design makes it easy to plug in power plugs of any size, meaning that you will be able to use all of them easily, which is always nice.
