A swing in the middle of a room isn't a common sight in any home, let alone an architect's abode. But there it is, installed by Courtney's architect uncle, alongside a whole loft filled with self designed and built furnishings inside the spacious live/work space...

We met Tony for the first time at his loft in the village of NYC. Once we stepped into their loft, we immediately fell in love with the space and the beautiful paintings on the wall. But the best part was definitely playing on the swing!

Uncle Tony, an architect, designed and furnished the place with furniture he built - yup, everything from the counters, the book shelves, the bar, to the partition walls and the desks. His wife on the other hand, a painter, adorned their loft with her own floral paintings. There was a surprise behind every corner. We thought this was a must share!

Thanks for sharing, Courtney!
