Our blogger search has turned up a couple strong candidates who might soon be showing up on our daily feed. But we're still looking for a couple more people to help join our site's commitment to cover the world of home technology through the prism of solutions complementing home, decor and design. So if you're an experienced blogger, gregarious and have a flexible schedule, we're waiting to hear from you! Please read the requirements to submit below...

We are specifically looking for a new contributornew contributors living in the New York City area, but also anywhere else in the United States, with an eye for great design and technology. We're not looking just for someone who is geeky or an aesthete, but the type of person who seeks tech solutions that merge tech utility with an appreciable design sense. Think Jonathan Ive or Yves Behar, with a little bit of DIY know-how, with an able understanding of how to frame solutions for tech lovers and luddites alike.

Unplggd focuses on technology as an extension of good design, so if you're known as a person with a keen eye for smart and decor-friendly solutions in the home office, home theater room, outdoor tech projects or anywhere in the house, we'd like to hear from you. You'll get to review and report on many of the newest technologies, alongside the design, decor and organizational solutions that help incorporate tech into a beautiful and healthy home.

This is a paid, freelance position (2-3 posts per week and rates range depending on content) and we're specifically looking for residents in the New York City area with flexible schedules. If hired and residing in the Big Apple, you will become our go-to contributor to attend public relation and media events on behalf of Apartment Therapy Unplggd in New York. Both candidates require a friendly, inquisitive demeanor, a good camera, and the ability to be immune to the sway of the perks of public relations are required!

• excellent camera skills and a good eye for stellar images
• a strong design sense reflected in topic choices and photography
• blog-style writing skills
• sociable and adept at basic interviewing skills for media events
• a reliable computer and high speed internet connection
• a decent (if not amazing) digital camera and skills to use it
• Photoshop or Photoshop Elements
• knowledge of how to use all these things

To apply, please send the following info to unplggd@apartmenttherapy.com with "NYC Unplggd Blogger Search" as the subject, along with two sample posts showcasing your unique content (we give extra weight to candidates who take and use their own photos for posts). Please do not send links to pre-written online content; we want to see samples that reflect your understanding and focus for Unplggd specifically:
• Your name and contact information
• Your professional and personal background
• How you first found Unplggd and how long you have been reading us
• Two (2) complete sample posts; we recommend one post be a "how-to", or product review, and best of all, a Tech Tour.

We want to be WOWED with your unique voice and awesome photos! Please submit posts written specifically for Unplggd and not for another blog. Use our archives of past posts as a guideline and style guide.

This is an open deadline. When we find the right person, we'll close this post, so please spread the word! We will confirm your submission, and then review your submissions. ANY QUESTIONS? Give us a shout: unplggd@apartmenttherapy.com
