Though we don't cover fashion or jewelry on Re-Nest, I stumbled across these adorable bangles on Etsy and it got me thinking about what a great upcycling project it could be as a home decor idea. Many of us ladies have old costume jewelry or other knick-knacks that we are still hanging onto for unknown reasons. Well, why not give it a cool new facelift and let it earn its keep again? Better yet, display it or hang it on the wall!

These gorgeous bangles from mysticfibers have such a wonderful ethnic aesthetic. I'm sure it would take me a lot of practice to get the yarn to lay as smoothly, but in the interest of conservation and reuse, I thought I'd share the idea.

If you don't have any old bangles and/or yarn laying around, you might head over to mysticfiber's Etsy shop, run by mother/daughter team of "E&E'" to get your own set of these colorful lovelies.
