Upholstery Fabric Repurposed Into Seating

We always hate it when someone thinks of something we haven't, especially when it's as cool as this. Camilla Hounsell Halvorsen is the brains behind the project and put some old upholstery fabric to great use, but can you guess what's inside of it?

An inner tube! With summer approaching, next time you walk down the pool accessory aisle make sure you take a look to see if there's anything that can be covered and repurposed. Make sure to watch Craigslist for people cleaning out their garages with the warmed months in sight. There's a chance you could score some great inner tube-seating innards!

Make sure to check out more of Camilla's work with eco-friendly inspiration, her pieces are as functional as they are colorful and we hope to see much more of her in the future.
