If asked to design the perfect world, many would eliminate the presence of the mosquito. We’re sure they serve some purpose on the food chain, but right now, they’re just pissing us off. Every time we turn around we have a new bite! To beat the bite, try a basic bar of soap for quick relief instead of pricey over the counter products.

This is a great way to use up the small ends of soap (if you’re a bar user) and if it’s not something you usually keep in the house, try picking up a single bar (we like Dove and Lever) and a travel storage case. That way you’ll be able to store it under a sink or in a closet, out of the package and ready to save the day.

Simply rub the dry bar on your skin, thoroughly covering the area. That’s all there is to it! The relief from this method is super fast and works faster than you can mix up other household remedies. If you want to go all out, save a deodorant applicator and push remaining bits of soap inside. Not only can you use it in the shower, but it’s an easy way to apply for bites if you seem to be a mosquito magnet like us!
