Sometimes we feel like there isn't a corner of your home that Ikea's Dioder lights can't be beneficial in. From media rooms to home office desks to room dividers, the LED string is quite the bright idea, but the wardrobe... Why didn't we think of this sooner?
The above wardrobe can be found within a beautiful Swedish home on the market through Alvhem Mäkleri & Interiör. The subtle lighting tucked above the mirrored doors is a pretty genius solution to getting dolled up at home. Floor or desk lamps can cause annoying reflections while you're looking for visible panty lines, and not everyone has overhead lighting they can turn to.
While we don't know how the lights were integrated in the above closet doors, we think it would be relatively easy to recreate with Ikea's Dioder lights. Just tuck a Dioder strip on the backside of the door frame and you should get a nice amount of indirect light flowing down the closet door, providing you with some light as you get ready. Even better, when the sliding doors are open, light illuminates into the closet to help when picking out outfits.
