Use Toilet Paper Tubes to Transport Bathroom Cords

Taking any trips this summer? No matter where you're headed, we're sure you want to look good. So when you're packaging your bathroom tech for travel—things like blow dryers and curling irons—remember this tip for keeping cords safe and untangled.

If you're looking to pack all your bathroom gadgets into your luggage, you've got two options: Buy fancy (read: expensive) cases to keep them sorted and protected, or risk arriving in your destination to a mess of wires tangled in your suitcase.

Ok, we lied. There's a third option. Take a cue from Lifehacker reader Dave (who must have luscious flowing locks) and wrangle your curling iron's cords with toilet paper tubes.

If you fold the cords accordion style in 5" segments like Dave, they'll fit perfectly inside the roll—no fancy, expensive travel organizers needed.
