Useful Origami For All Ages

If there's one thing that has the ability to hold the attention of children (of any age) it's paper, specifically origami. There's just something magical about making a small square of paper into a house, tree or even the number three. We found a great site, loaded with (free) instructions that's sure to be a hit!

The Useful Origami site is loaded with paper folding projects for all ages and attention spans. For older kids there's more complex animals, for younger tots, there's easier things like chairs and tufts of grass. There's also video demos of each item being made, just in case a specific instruction gets the best of you.

The site is organized by category and each project is graded with stars on difficulty level, which makes it easy to choose projects that you know can be completed by the nimble fingers at hand. Origami is an inexpensive hobby and with the influx of paper choices at your local craft store, it's sure to be a colorful one as well!

Did we mention it's free? We like free!
