Using a Rattan Rocker in the Nursery

The usual options for a nursing rocker include wood, upholstered and even plastic. But don’t forget about rattan!

Rattan adds texture and an organic element to any room. It’s also usually very budget friendly. We like the look of the rattan rocker in the photo above. Looks like the parents wrapped the bottom of the rocker with silver duct tape – perhaps to reference the silver ottoman? A little research and we figured out that the rocker is the IKEA Gunghult. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available but if you’re looking for something similar and affordable check out the IKEA Hejka.
