"…I think if you give up [being online] consciously then the experience of going without is totally different and a lot easier. We have found that coming home to an Internet-free (and television-free) house helps us to focus on our evening work, read more, and enjoy our weekends MUCH MUCH more. It's like we are on vacation or at camp every time we go home.

When we use Internet as a destination, it seems more fun, and our work is done with more focus (usually because we need to finish something before the place closes).
