If you don’t have plans to go out tonight with your significant other, consider yourself lucky: You’ve got someone in your life you like at least a little bit, and there are tons of movies streaming right now that, when paired with a cheap bottle of wine and some take out, can equal a pretty successful (and low-pressure) celebration in. You may be broke (or just want to avoid the V-Day craziness), but you’ve still got style. Here’s a rundown of some of your options.

Top pick: Adventureland

This quiet little movie about a summer spent working at a theme park in the 80s was an underrated gem from 2009. Kristen Stewart was great in it even then, and I’m glad America loves her these days. Thanks, SNL!

Other options on Netflix:

  • Drinking Buddies
  • 10 Things I Hate About You
  • Clueless
  • Amelie
  • While You Were Sleeping
  • Grease
  • I Hate Valentine’s Day

Top pick: When Harry Met Sally

You cannot go wrong with this hilarious, sweet movie about a realistic couple of friends who fall in love. Also, raise a glass to Carrie Fisher, who has some of the movie’s funniest lines.

Other options on Hulu:

  • The American President
  • The Preacher’s Wife
  • Up In The Air
  • Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married?
  • Pretty In Pink
  • Sabrina
  • Annie Hall

Worth noting: Hulu also has an LGBT section, although it currently only has four movies in it.

Top pick: Runaway Bride

I am a sucker for ’90s Julia Roberts and I will take this opportunity to bemoan the fact that My Best Friend’s Wedding is not available on streaming anywhere. This is your next best bet.

Other options on Amazon Prime:

  • Cafe Society
  • The Lobster
  • She’s All That
  • The One I Love
  • Teen Wolf
  • Shakespeare in Love

Happy Valentine’s Day, and happy streaming! Good luck avoiding making any Netflix and chill jokes.
