If you're in the Southeast, head to your local Lidl for a dozen roses for just $9.99 (and for UK shoppers, the price is £5). Lidl's Rainforest Alliance-certified roses come with a five-day freshness guarantee and are quality-checked throughout the day by designated Fresh Specialists, the company said in a press release.

The bouquets are available in white, red, or pink, and a number of mixed bouquets and potted plants will also be available starting at just $3.99. If your partner has cold feet, Lidl also has a blanket—with attached slippers—for that.

Good news for Amazon Prime members, you get an extra deal at Whole Foods for V Day. From February 7 through February 14, two dozen Whole Trade roses are regularly $24.99, but are $19.99 with a this coupon. The Whole Trade program supports communities, farmers, and the environment, which you can read more about on the grocer's blog.

If you're looking for quantity, we wrote about Costco's 50 stems for $50 preorder deal last week. Or, you can go big or go home with this human-sized bouquet of over 100 blooms from online florist BloomThat.

But if your pet is your true love, maybe skip the flowers and try one of these ideas.
