Vintage Campers for the Birds in Your Life

Vintage Campers for the Birds in Your Life

This month, we've been celebrating vacations and getaways, but why should we be the only ones to have any fun? Vintage campers have been making a comeback as there are now resorts filled with them. Now, you can create your own getaway, on a much smaller scale, to give some birds a stylish place to rest.

We absolutely love these whimsical birdhouses, inspired by the vintage campers of the 1940's and 1950's. The entry hole is 1 1/2 inches in diameter, making these birdhouses appropriate for Carolina wrens, eastern bluebirds, ash-throated flycatchers, hairy woodpeckers, tree swallows, yellow-bellied sapsuckers, and many other birds. They also have a bottom that slides out for easy cleaning access.

These birdhouses are available on Etsy from Strictly for the Birds by Jumahl. Not only are they great looking, but they are reasonably priced as well.
