Some of Our Favorite Vintage Headphones From Etsy
We recently bought a brand new pair of headphones and we definitely enjoy the sound quality and the sleek, thin design — but we can’t help but long for the old days and the way they made headphones back then. Luckily for us, Etsy has a variety of vintage headphones that are not only in great shape, but affordable too.
• Vintage Califone Tan Headphones, $22.00: It’s funny, because if you walk into one of those hip clothing “outfitters”, one of these would set you back at least $60 for a reproduction. These are actual vintage headphones for a pretty reasonable price. It’s awesome that all you need is an adapter and these can be used for listen to your iPod.
• Audiophile Vintage Army Green Headphones, $24.50: There’s something so predictable and wonderful about vintage army green headphones. It’s as if we just expect them to be green. The cord on these inexpensive headphones is super long so relaxing won’t be a problem.
• Vintage Troxell Aqua Blue Headphones, $26.00: These are another set of vintage headphones that can be plugged right into your iPod. Did we mention how much we love that? The aqua blue is a fantastic color for headphones and these bad boys have been tested and guaranteed to sound great.
• Realistic Nova Pro Headphones, $35.00: These headphones were super popular in the 80’s and this particular pair have stayed in great shape. The cord can also be used in an iPod with the proper adapter. Each side has a balancing knob that controls the volume of each ear piece.
