You Can Apply To Be a Counselor at Kristen Bell’s Virtual Kids’ Camp
If you ever had the chance to attend summer camp as a kid, you most likely dreamed of the day you could graduate to camp counselor. Now, that dream of yours may be fulfilled in a big way.
Kristen Bell is on the hunt for counselors to teach kids classes for Camp Hello Bello, the virtual summer camp she’s running through the month of April. This is a paid position that will require you to go back to your camp roots and think up some fun and creative activities that kids can get involved in while stuck at home during the pandemic.
“We’ll have singing, dancing, storytime, and everything else you’d get from counselors by a lake in the summer. Except it’s not summer. And we’re indoors,” Bell’s baby products brand Hello Bello stated in the Camp Hello Bello launch announcement on March 31. “Okay, so this is a different kind of camp. Because the kids are home, all day, and Camp Hello Bello is coming in to help fill the hours with some extra creativity.”
Each day, Hello Bello’s social media platforms post a Camp Schedule that includes things like singalongs, cooking classes, and yoga routines taught by current counselors from across the country, including Kirsten Bell, herself.
Bell read “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse” by Charlie Mackesy on April 3.
But, Camp Hello Bello is still searching for more counselors, which is where you come in.
“If you have a skill you want to share with the Hello Bello community, please fill out this survey so we can start filling up camp-time!” the Camp Hello Bello counselor application reads. You can fill it out and apply right here.
To get inspired, take a scroll through the Hello Bello Facebook feed to see what kind of crafts, lessons, and entertainment other counselors have uploaded. Although Camp Hello Bello is technically for kids, don’t be shocked when you realize you’re having just as much fun as they are.
