I'm a city girl. I didn't grow up that way, but even as a young suburbanite, I yearned for excitement of urban life. Like many before me, one trip to New York City, and I was smitten with the hustle, the bustle, and the energy that a city offers to all that dare to tread its streets.

Chauntelle Trinh and Eckard Buscher understand this love of cities, and as architects and artists, they've crafted this understanding into laser-cut stainless steel cityscapes – circuit boards of metropolitan soul. They recognize that each city has a beauty of its own... yet when viewed abstractly and from a distance, they (and by extension we) are more similar than first imagined...

Striking on their own, or amassed as an amazing (albeit costly) collection, these metropolitan cityscapes offer a modern take on our shared love of topographies and the cities they represent.

1. Amsterdam, $845
2. New York City, $885
3. Tokyo, $926

Currently, there are 14 cities available for purchase, with more on the way.
