Wallpaper One Wall, Paint the Others?

We spotted this very pink room in the latest issue of Sköna Hem, and initially we thought the accent wall was painted a muted pink to give more emphasis to the bold wallpaper on the back wall.

Apparently, it’s not paint–it’s just pinstripe red and white wallpaper that got blurred thanks to image compression. But it gave us an idea: why wallpaper or paint an entire room? We’re still in the initial stages of decorating our nephew’s bedroom; and now we’re thinking that it might be nice to have the impact wall (opposite the door) papered with playful graphics, and paint the other three walls a muted blue that goes with the wallpaper. What do you think?
