British designer Jenny Wilkinson creates interactive wall coverings inspired by the beloved "paint-by-numbers" of our youth with her own non-so-serious take on traditional wallpaper designs.
Decorative patterns which, on closer inspection, are composed of hammerhead sharks and botanical illustrations depicting butterflies in imminent danger of being captured by venus fly traps reveal the designer's playful sense of humor. The paper can be colored using paint, pens, markers, or left blank to showcase the paint-by-numbers pattern. The wallpapers, which are part of the permanent collection at the V&A Museum in London look to be a seriously fun exercise in customization.
