In order to cut down on the masses doing the annual holiday rush to the Christmas tree farm and thus reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection, Walmart is offering to deliver Christmas trees to customers’ doorsteps for free. And to really round out its upped customer service throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Walmart partnered with Handy to offer outdoor Christmas light installation and removal.

To take advantage of the Walmart Christmas tree delivery service, all you have to do is shop for your tree through Walmart’s website. You can choose from a wide variety of real Christmas trees—from Fraser Firs and Blue Spruce to Douglas Firs and Balsams. Most tree varieties (and other Christmas plants like poinsettias and amaryllis) will offer free delivery when you check out.

Christmas tree accessories like stands, tree nutrients, and watering tools are also available on this page, and most will ship for free. However, some items are pick-up only, so make sure to check before you buy.

Then, if you’d like to have someone else come out to your house and wrangle your Christmas light bin, you can shop the Handy partnership page on Walmart’s website. This service is a rate dependent on whether your home is one story ($129 fixed rate) or two ($199). Once you purchase your installation package, a representative from Handy will reach out to schedule your installation time, during which a professional will come out to your home and hang your outdoor Christmas lights.

Though you will need to supply your Handy installer with lights to hang, you can also pick up a few extra strands of holiday twinkle lights while shopping the Walmart x Handy portal, as well as opt for removal after the holiday season wraps up.
