Sometimes, the best way to bring a room together is right beneath your feet — literally. Rugs can transform and bring together every room in your house. And while we'd all ideally have a rug dealer or favorite flea market to go to to score those finds, sometimes the best place to look is online. Thankfully, there is no shortage of places to look. (Here are a few of our favorite, for starters.) But we're always finding more.

Wayfair, the mega-retailer for everything from patio furniture to pressure cookers, is already one of our go-to's for rugs. And there are lots to choose from. On Wayfair's website, it says that there are "endless" rugs, and that is nearly literally true. For starters, there are over 36,000 runners alone.

That sheer breadth of rugs might explain one of Wayfair's more unusual rugs offerings: that of the one-of-a-kind variety.

While there are plenty of places to find one-of-a-kind rugs online (looking at you, Etsy), it's downright rare to find a retailer the size of Wayfair doing the same. And while other online retailers might be limiting, since this is Wayfair, there is once again a nearly endless supply. As of this writing, there are 21,180 rugs that range in price from $30 to $239,999.99. (that is not a typo, and don't worry, it comes with free shipping).

While those numbers are overwhelming, there're also some strategic advantages. For starters, you can narrow down to exactly what you're looking for and still be guaranteed a pretty wide array of options. In addition to color and pattern, you can specify size, material and even pile height. I, for example, have long been on the hunt for a truly long runner for our truly long NYC hallway. With a few clicks of the filter, I was able to pull up 270 options to sort through of runners over 10 feet, which is way more than I've found looking elsewhere for vintage and antique rugs.

And in case that nearly-quarter-million quote put you off, plenty of other rugs are available in a much more reasonable budget. Here are some of our favorites (while they last), most under $200.
