There are quite a few things that can go wrong on your wedding day. People can get food poisoning from bad romaine lettuce, the best man and MOH can sneak off after getting a little too drunk, your mother and mother-in-law can get into a nasty argument, or worst of all, it could rain.

These things might seem unavoidable, but apparently, you can use analytics to determine your best chance at avoiding a rainy weather day.

While everyone wants to avoid rain on their wedding day, there are some other weather factors everyone should consider. It might be sunny, but who wants to get married when it is 100 degrees outside?

Bloomingdales revealed a new website tool that helps couples pick the perfect day for their wedding. The site, dubbed The Best Day For Your Big Day , uses weather data to analyze the best dates for weddings. All it needs is your city!

How does this work?

Weather data for 1,000 most populous cities in the US has been obtained from 1981-2010 Climate Normals series produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Optimal days in each city were determined on the basis of the comfortable average temperature of 72ºF, low cloud cover, low chance of precipitation, and comfortable relative humidity of 50%.

The perfect day to get married in Denver, Colorado right now is August 26, 2018. Whereas, the perfect day to get married in Huntington Beach, California is September 15, 2018.

You can pick the city you're interested in and see the best day, along with days that are better than others. The site also offers three alternatives for "perfect days" which include a date from the three other seasons, in case you got a summer date, but want to know a good fall, winter, or spring date.
