This Weekend: Make Sure You're Completely Covered

Sweaters and long pants will make a reappearance soon. Did you shove your old ones in the back of your closet before dry cleaning, de-pilling them, or mending any holes? If so, drag them back out and give them a good inspection. Now, what do they need?

This Weekend's Assignment: Inspect all your sweaters and cool-weather clothes, and make much-needed repairs to your entire wardrobe.

Invest In Your Favorites: You can definitely get more wear out of your precious jeans, not to mention the soft sweater you'd sleep in if you didn't get so hot at night. Inspect all their forgivable flaws, patch them up, and send them back out onto the field for another season.

Retire Your Oldies: Take an inventory of your fall and winter wardrobe and make sure that everything will fit, is not too worn out, and that you have things that you will actually enjoy wearing. If you didn't wear it last fall, you probably won't wear it now. Either donate them, or make something else out of the material!

Remember, as with all of our Weekend Projects, just do what you have the time and energy to do. And hey, if you don't feel like messing around with a bunch of couch cushions, choose one of our other weekend projects to get done.
