  • Art Institute holiday art preview reception and sale
    • The annual holiday sale of original works created by students of the Art Institute of Chicago begins tonight at a special reception and runs through Saturday.

  • Robert Rauschenberg exhibition
    • Madron LLC and Rosenthal Fine Art will collaborate to show 11 prints from Robert Rauschenberg’s series, Currents

  • CTA Holiday train debuts!
    • Now in its 15th year, the six-car train is decorated with thousands of multi-colored lights and features a flat car in the middle that carries Santa and his reindeer. Car interiors are decked out with bows, garland, red and green lighting, and hand poles wrapped to look like candy canes.
    • Debuts on Red and Purple lines; will then travel various CTA lines throughout Nov. and Dec.
