"Werner Herzog" Reads Children's Books

New German cinema can be heavy, but these videos of famed writer/director Werner Herzog reading children's books are deeply funny! Okay, it's not really Werner Herzog, but a darn good imitation of both the accent and the dark, solipsistic outlook.

The videos are the creation of Ryan Iverson and while they've been around a while they only came on our radar this Christmas when links to "Werner Herzog" reading T'was the Night Before Christmas were circulating.

Warning: You may never see these books the same way again!
