West Elm Is Offering 20% Off (Almost) Everything—Here Are Four Picks We Spotted Recently in House Tours
West Elm’s Friends and Family sale is currently going on, and (almost) everything is 20 percent off with the code FRIENDS. The promotion excludes items already on sale as well as their bonus deals. The good news, however, is just about anything on their site is a good deal right now. If you’ve been eyeing the perfect platform bed or even sham pillow, now is a good time to bite. But if you’re unsure of what to get, we have four suggestions based on recent house tours. They’re also West Elm classics that are popular for a reason: Quality products that are also versatile and serve a purpose. Check them out below.
We’ve spotted West Elm’s Terrace Coffee Table in a few tours (you can also find it here). Glass and metal detailing keep it feeling light while still providing ample storage. It also can easily be styled to look feminine, like above, or more eclectic/vintage. It’s a great MCM-inspired piece that works well in a bunch of spaces.
Terrace Coffee Table, $319.20 with code FRIENDS (usually $399)
Another versatile piece that can work in a number of decor styles, this console can be styled to look more boho or industrial. Here, candles and a few baskets keep things minimal, but you can also use it as storage for books, records, or anything else, and the cubby is great for mail, coffee table books, or magazines. It is also in the same collection as the ever-popular Industrial Storage Coffee Table we see pop up in house tours.
Industrial Storage Skinny Console, $319.20 with code FRIENDS (usually $399)
In a room awash with white and pastel, the dark gray zigzag on the Souk rug provides a nice anchor. The asymmetrical design give it a unique, handmade feel. (Which it is!) A white rug is also perfect for a bedroom–a lower-trafficked area (with fewer shoes and food) reduces the risk of stains.
Souk Wool Rug, $159.20-1359.2 with code FRIENDS (usually 199 – $1,699)
Nesting side tables are great space-savers, and can even be used as a stand-in for coffee tables when open space is at a premium. The smaller table nests fully under the larger one if you want to keep them stacked when not in use, or you can create a tiered look with it only half nested. No matter where you place them, they will provide extra surfaces for drinks and books without cluttering your space.
