Is it just us, or are kids products getting cooler and cooler the further away we get from being kids ourselves? Such is the case with the latest nursery collection West Elm and Pottery Barn Kids. The two furniture retailers, both members of the Williams-Sonoma family brands, have teamed up to bring West Elm's signature midcentury modern ascetic to the under-five set. The collection is available now at both West Elm and Pottery Barn Kids stores and websites.

"The West Elm x Pottery Barn Kids nursery collection extends modern design into every room of the house," Jennifer Kellor, President of Pottery Barn Kids, explained in a press release. PB Kids, on the other hand, brought years of experience designing kid's furniture to the collab. That means that the 50-piece collection is not only cute, it's safe as well. All bedding is 100% organic cotton and each piece is Greenguard certified for low emissions, including rugs.

The first collection, which launched May 10, has four looks. Notably, all four are gender-neutral, and include cribs, kids' beds, changing tables, and gliders. Existing West Elm pieces for all ages, like book shelves, storage bins, and nightstands, that match the looks can also be viewed when shopping the collaboration online.

Many of the pieces are also designed to grow with your child. The cribs, which start at $399, can be converted to a toddler bed with the purchase of a $149 kit. The changing tables, which look just like classic West Elm dressers, have removable top for the changing pad so they can become just that after potty training. This also hopefully means that the furniture can grow with your child, from crawling all the way to high school (or at least as long the Danish Modern trend sticks around.)

In addition to larger pieces like furniture and rugs, the collection include smaller pieces like wall art, blankets, and bath towels. See the whole collection at West Elm, or shop some of our favorites below:
