If you’re in the part of the country currently getting hammered by winter weather, allow us to offer a sunny respite from the snow and sleet. West Elm gave us a sneak peek inside their summer collection and we are sharing some of our faves with you. It’ll be here before you know it (the collection and the warm weather).

We love the bright colors that come with outdoor collections, and West Elm is bringing it with a ton of playfully patterned pillows and the super cool woven lounge chairs. If your outdoor space can’t fit a large lounge, you can still add some color with the Soleil bistro table and chairs (available in orange and turquoise hues, as well as white).

The summer collection includes the launch of a new collaboration that we’re thrilled about: Dusen Dusen for West Elm. The playful, retro patterns of Ellen Van Dusen are on rugs, furniture cushions, and of course, pillows.

Tabletop gets a dose of artistry, too; the brushstroke plates and glam geometric flatware add some painterly style to al fresco dining. For a softer hue, West Elm introduces their take on Chinese celadon porcelain with the muted greens of their Modern Celadon vases.

And what’s outdoor living without plants? We’re pretty obsessed with the Soleil Plant Screen (available in yellow and white), which, when covered in climbing vines, will be the perfect privacy enhancer for a balcony or patio that’d otherwise be in plain view of the neighbors. We’re also spotting some fab planters, like the triangular concrete Cityscape ones, and the low, footed Elevado planter, which would look great brimming with succulents.

And don’t worry, you won’t have to wait too long to snag some of these pieces. They’ll begin popping up in West Elm stores starting March 21 and some are available online now.
